PRODUCTION
All collections are designed in Varberg. Production takes place in Lithuania, a country with a long tradition of manufacturing linen clothing. The linen we use comes from the highest quality French non-sprayed flax, and the cutting of the fabrics is carefully planned to minimize waste. The remnants are used for the manufacture of smaller products or donated as material to sewing schools and artisans.
We are also pleased to offer garments in viscose with GOTS certification, a soft and supple natural material with a beautiful drape, cool feel and timeless elegance. These are also manufactured in Lithuania by our skilled team, with the same care and attention. The viscose fabrics are printed in northern Italy, where craftsmanship and quality go hand in hand.
At K. LAGERQVIST, we are proud to offer textiles certified according to European Flax™, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and GOTS. These certificates mean that the raw materials for our garments are carefully selected, organically grown and responsibly produced – with the highest quality and the least possible environmental impact. The GOTS certification also places demands on the entire production chain, both environmentally and socially, in line with our values of sustainability and transparency.
We want to encourage conscious consumption, where responsibly manufactured products are used over and over again and passed on to family, friends and to future generations.
