SUSTAINABILITY
Our linen is grown and woven in France, ensuring the highest quality. The fabrics are certified according to European Flax™ and OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, guaranteeing traceable and safe supply chains.
Linen is a natural plant fiber. It is grown in cycles and is an environmentally friendly crop that requires no irrigation, minimal pesticides and fertilizers, and is completely GMO-free. The conversion process from plant to fiber requires no additional water, and no plant parts are wasted in production.
Linen is known for its timeless elegance and versatility and is one of the oldest known textiles. The unique weaving process results in a fabric that breathes, is lightweight, and has exceptional durability. Despite its light feel, the fabric is sturdy and becomes softer and more flexible with each use and wash. This resilience contributes to its longevity, making linen a sustainable choice for both clothing and home textiles.
The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification means that the fabric has been tested and guarantees that it does not contain substances that can affect human health.
Viscose – a sustainable complement
To offer a soft and flowing alternative to our beloved linen, we have also introduced viscose garments. Viscose is a fiber made from cellulose from wood pulp, usually from beech, birch, or spruce. It is considered a regenerated natural material as it has a natural origin but is transformed into fiber through an industrial process.
Our viscose is GOTS-certified, which guarantees that it is produced organically and that the entire production chain, from raw material to finished fabric, meets strict environmental and social sustainability requirements. Our dresses and skirts are also sewn in EcoVero™, an FSC-certified viscose made from wood from sustainably managed forests, with lower impact on water consumption and carbon dioxide emissions than conventional viscose.
We strive to create clothes that are both sustainable and beautiful – garments that not only feel good to wear but also to buy. By choosing certified materials and collaborating with responsible producers, we can offer products that are good for both people and the planet.
