We have chosen to work with an exclusive blend of merino wool and cashmere, two natural materials that together create something truly special. Merino wool, known for its fine, smooth fibres, feels soft against the skin and does not itch. It is also temperature-regulating, keeping the garment warm when it is cold and cool when temperatures rise.
Cashmere wool, which comes from the cashmere goat, adds extra softness and lightness. The fine undercoat is carefully separated from the coarser outer hair to create the exclusive quality used in our garments.
Wool’s natural properties also make it self-cleaning and antibacterial; air your garment between wears rather than washing it too often.
Minou Jumper is made from 85% European superfine merino wool and 15% cashmere, handmade in Northern Europe.

Merino sheep have a very long and soft fleece and are considered by many to have the finest wool. Merino wool has thinner and smoother fibers than, for example, regular, thicker wool. Merino wool doesn’t itch and feels comfortable and soft against the skin.
Wool is temperature-regulating. When it’s cold, the wool becomes heat-insulating and keeps you warm. In warm temperatures, thin wool instead has a cooling effect. Wool is self-cleaning and has antiseptic properties. Woolen garments can and should be aired between uses and don’t need to be washed as often.
Cashmere wool comes from the cashmere goat. The goat has two layers of wool. The upper layer acts as protection and must be separated from the lower, finer layer to be used in our garments.
15% cashmere, 85% European superfine merino wool. Handmade in Northern Europe
Wash in wool or hand wash program at max 30 degrees and lowest spin speed. Use detergent specially designed for wool, never bleach or fabric softener.
